I wish I could tell you my Christmas shopping is complete, that I’ve got all my ducks in a row this holiday season… However, I’ve barely started! Can any of you relate? That’s where this quick post comes in. Sweaters have long been one of my favorite gifts to give and receive. They are practical, cozy, and easy to tailor to your recipient’s personal style. So, allow me to give you a jump start by offering a few gift ideas for the ladies in your life. It might be for mom. It might be for a best friend, an aunt, or a daughter. Gift Idea #1 – French Vibes

Style #1 isn’t exactly a sweater,  but sweater dresses are still an excellent gift idea for ladies who love a classic and feminine look. Does she fancy French fashion or feel drawn to an old Hollywood look? Knit dresses are both comfortable and cozy winter options.

This particular piece (also in light blue and beige) is a favorite of mine because the knit is deliciously soft and thicker than I’ve found with a lot of sweater dresses. Consequently, it offers a figure-flattering fit that will skim your curves, rather than clinging to them. You can’t see it in this photo, but the fabric has a faint hint of metallic in the weave. It gives it a fun, festive touch.

For sizing reference, I’m 4’11 and wearing the size small. I was between sizes for this one and ended up opting for the larger. I think it fit perfectly, so I’d probably err on the side of larger if you’re not sure which size to order for your loved one.
